State Bank of India trades in fine fettle on BSE

State Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 289.70, up by 6.55 points or 2.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 283.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 284.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 290.45 and Rs. 283.85 respectively. So far 783402 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 315.00 on 19-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 171.20 on 25-May-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 315.00 and Rs. 281.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 232144.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.22%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.27% and 9.51% respectively.

State Bank of India (SBI), country’s largest public sector lender has reportedly put up assets worth over Rs 1,471 crore for sale to asset reconstruction companies (ARCs). The largest among the loan accounts on sale is Adhunik Power & Natural Resources, where the bank is looking to sell loans worth Rs 807 crore and equity worth close to Rs 200 crore.

SBI offers a wide range of services in the Personal Banking, Agriculture/Rural, NRI services, SME and Corporate Banking etc. It is a government-owned corporation with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
