Indian Hotels Company has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.
On standalone basis, the company has posted a fall of 30.58% in its net profit at Rs 65.21 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 93.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has increased by 4.32% at Rs 570.05 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 546.42 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a rise of 2.90% in its net profit at Rs 145.35 crore as compared to Rs 141.25 crore in the previous year. Total income has increased by 8.46% at Rs 1858.45 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 1713.52 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
The company has reported consolidated net profit of Rs 3.06 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012, against net loss of Rs 87.26 crore in last fiscal. Total income increased by 20.04% at Rs 3483.49 crore from Rs 2902.01 crore in the year-ago period.
