Hindustan Copper inaugurates Banwas Mine in Rajasthan

Hindustan Copper has inaugurated Banwas Mine located at Khetri Copper Complex, Rajasthan after completion of mine construction. The production capacity of the mine is 6 lakh tonne per annum of copper ore. The production will start from current financial year. The Banwas Mine has been inaugurated on May 31, 2017.

Hindustan Copper’s principal activities include mining of copper ore, concentration of copper ore into copper concentrate through a beneficiation process and also smelting, refining and extruding of the copper concentrate into refined copper in downstream saleable products.
