NDTV slips as CBI files case against Prannoy Roy

New Delhi Television (NDTV) is currently trading at Rs. 58.45, down by 2.00 points or 3.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 60.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 59.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 59.95 and Rs. 57.30 respectively. So far 28272 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 4 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 99.00 on 13-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 57.30 on 05-Jun-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 63.80 and Rs. 57.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 378.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.45%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.78 % and 19.78 % respectively.

NDTV extended losses for the second straight session on Tuesday after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday raided the residence of senior journalist and co-founder of listed broadcaster Prannoy Roy and other premises linked to the organisation. The agency has registered a case against Roy, his wife Radhika and RRPR Holdings for allegedly causing a loss of Rs 48 crore to ICICI Bank.
