NCC gains on the buzz to divest stake in some real estate projects

NCC is currently trading at Rs. 92.70, up by 1.70 points or 1.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 91.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 91.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 93.00 and Rs. 91.55 respectively. So far 1,85,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 103.75 on 17-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 68.50 on 24-Jun-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 93.10 and Rs. 84.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5,153.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 19.72%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.09% and 34.19% respectively.

NCC is reportedly in discussion to divest stake in some real estate projects, including those in Bengaluru, Kakinada and Hyderabad, to fuel its business expansion plans.

While the company added orders worth Rs 2,000 crore in the first quarter, it is expecting to see addition of new orders worth over Rs 10,000 crore this fiscal and a topline growth of about 10 per cent.

NCC is engaged in development of real estate. The company’s projects stand on credentials of its work in various sectors such as Housing, Transportation, Power, water, Metals and Oil and gas.
