Satin Creditcare Network soars after hike in foreign investment limit

Satin Creditcare Network is currently trading at Rs. 290, up by 6.85 points or 2.42 % from its previous closing of Rs. 283.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 284.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 294.05 and Rs. 284.00 respectively.

 The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 716.70 on 28-July-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 243.55 on 12-Jun-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 299.00 and Rs. 280.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,134.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 31.74 %, while public and others held 67.11% and 1.15% respectively.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has notified that Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Foreign Portfolios Investors (FPIs) can now invest up to 49% of the paid up capital of Satin Creditcare Network under the Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS). The company has passed necessary resolution at Board of Directors` level and in its Annual General Meeting for increasing the FII/FPI investment limit under Portfolio Investment Scheme from 24% to 49% of the paid up capital of the company.

Satin Creditcare Network is one of the largest Microfinance Institutions (MFI) in Northern India, and is the third largest MFI in the country.
