L&T gains as its arm bags order worth Rs 287.48 crore

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) is currently trading at Rs. 1763.00, up by 12.40 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 1750.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1760.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1781.40 and Rs. 1755.75 respectively. So far 23869827 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1834.00 on 30-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1295.30 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1781.40 and Rs. 1722.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 164888.02 crore.

The institutions and non-institutions held 57.09% and 42.90% stake in the company, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm -- L&T Constructions has bagged an EPC contract for the development of 50MW Solar Power PV grid connected project (including evacuation arrangements) located at Theni and Dindigul districts in Tamil Nadu. The contract has been awarded by NHPC for an amount of Rs 287.48 crore with its comprehensive O&M for 10 years. The project is anticipated to be completed within 9 months.
