Spicejet’s Q4 net loss widens over four-fold to Rs 249.18 crore

Low-cost carrier Spicejet’s net loss for fourth quarter widened over four-fold to Rs 249.18 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 58.63 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s income from operation, however, stood at Rs 1113.00 crore, up by 46.34% to Rs 760.54 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.

For the full year, the company has reported a loss of Rs 605.77 crore for the year under review as compared to Rs 101.16 crore. However, its income from operation rose 36.09% to Rs 3997.97 crore as compared to Rs 2937.70 crore in FY’11.
