CDSL makes stellar debut on NSE; trades around 80% gains

Central Depository Services (India) (CDSL) debuted at Rs 250.00 on the NSE, up by 101 points or 67.79% from its issue price of Rs 149.

The scrip is currently trading at Rs 267.30, up by 118.30 points or 79.40% from its issue price. It has touched a high and low of Rs 269.95 and Rs 250.00 respectively. So far 3,59,63,062 shares were traded on the counter.

The offering, which was open for subscription between June 19 and June 21, was subscribed 170.19 times. The issue price was fixed at Rs 149 per share i.e. at upper end of price band of Rs 145-149 apiece.

CDSL operates as a securities depository in India. It offers various services, such as account opening, dematerialization, processing delivery and receipt instructions, account statement, re-materialization, pledging, nomination, transmission of securities, change in address, bank account details and SMS services for depository participants.
