Canara Bank trades higher on the bourses

Canara Bank is currently trading at Rs. 333.05, up by 1.80 points or 0.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 331.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 333.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 334.80 and Rs. 331.30 respectively. So far 36904 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 414.90 on 05-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 212.38 on 04-Jul-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 340.10 and Rs. 316.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 19919.63 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.30%, while institutions and non-institutions held 26.50% and 7.19% respectively.

Canara Bank has made required changes in its core banking system to provide Goods and Service Tax (GST)-compliant services to customers. To help the customers, the bank has formed a GST help desk. The email address of the helpdesk is: gsthelpdesk@ canarabank.com.

With effect from July 1, all the branches of the bank can accept GST across the counter and also online through the bank’s portal.
