SSWL slips on reporting 11% fall in total wheel rim sales in June

Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) is currently trading at Rs. 880.25, down by 4.10 points or 0.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 884.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 881.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 885.00 and Rs. 880.25 respectively. So far 325 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 956.60 on 12-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 467.00 on 19-Jul-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 901.95 and Rs. 852.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1375.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.74% and 40.51% respectively.

SSWL has reported 11.52% fall in its total wheel rim sales to 10.29 lakh in June 2017, as compared to 11.63 lakh in June 2016. The drop was majorly due to GST implementation in June, and all the destocking being done by all across the OEMs.

In terms of value, the company has achieved gross turnover of Rs 112.45 crore in June 2017 compared to Rs 122.10 crore in June 2016, there by recording a drop of 8% and achieved net turnover of Rs 100.43 crore in June 2017 compared to Rs 109.83 crore in June 2016, recording a drop of 8%.
