Atul soars on resuming operations at Tarapur plant

Atul is currently trading at Rs. 2490.05, up by 38.15 points or 1.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 2451.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2469.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2547.95 and Rs. 2436.60 respectively. So far 2722 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2588.00 on 16-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1885.00 on 10-Aug-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2547.95 and Rs. 2431.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7392.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 26.64% and 28.89% respectively.

Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has revoked the closure notice at Tarapur plant of Atul, pursuant to providing connectivity of the on-line effluent monitoring system to CPCB. Further, there was no material impact on the operations of the company during the closure period. The operations in the Tarapur plant have resumed.

Atul operates through six business divisions, namely, Agrochemicals, Aromatics, Bulk Chemicals & Intermediates, Colors, Pharmaceuticals & Intermediates and Polymers.
