MOIL signs MoU with Ministry of Steel

MOIL has signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with administrative ministry (Ministry of Steel) for the financial year 2017-18. The MoU includes targets for achievement of various performance parameters which includes Manganese ore production targets of 12.50 lakh tonnes and capex amount of Rs 205.80 crore for the FY18, for excellent grading.

MOIL is the largest iron ore company in India and fifth largest in world. It currently operates seven underground mines (Kandri, Munsar, Beldongri, Gumgaon, Chikla, Balaghat and Ukwa mines) and three opencast mines (Dongri Buzurg, Sitapatore/Sukli, and Tirodi).
