Vijaya Bank trades with traction on the BSE

Vijaya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 75.20, up by 0.55 points or 0.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 74.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 74.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 75.90 and Rs. 74.25 respectively. So far 25417 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 97.40 on 09-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 36.55 on 11-Aug-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 76.80 and Rs. 73.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7526.30 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.33%, while institutions and non-institutions held 17.93% and 11.74% respectively.

Vijaya Bank is planning to establish 50 more branches in Andhra Pradesh in the next two years in addition to the existing 115 branches. Of total, fifteen of the branches would be set up during FY18.

The Bank's business volume stood at Rs 2,30,184 crores as on March 31, 2017 with Rs 1,32,983 crores being deposits and the rest advances.
