Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 5,75,904.46 crore on July 18 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 70,01,024.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 19,456.88 crore, Stock Futures Rs 57,083.17 crore and Index Options Rs 4,51,356.49 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 48,007.91 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 1.07, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 1.18 and that of Stock Options was 0.47.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Indiabulls Real Estate (1.25), Ujjivan Financial Services (1.19), Bharti Airtel (1.15), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (1.14) and Jubilant FoodWorks (1.09).
Among most active underlying, ITC witnessed an addition of 2.93 million units of Open Interest in the July month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing a contraction of 1.33 million units of Open Interest in the July month contract, Grasim Industries witnessed a contraction of 0.38 million units of Open Interest in the July month contract, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 3.92 million units of Open Interest in the July month future contract and Jubilant Foodworks witnessed a contraction of 0.007 million units of Open Interest in the July month future contract.
