Tata Power’s wholly-owned subsidiary Tata Power Solar, formerly known as Tata BP Solar, has been ranked the number one EPC rooftop solar player in the recently published India Solar Rooftop report 2017 by Bridge to India, a leading clean tech consulting and knowledge services provider.
According to the report, the total installed capacity in the rooftop segment is 1,396 MW as of March 31, 2017, including the commercial, residential and industrial sectors. Tata Power Solar leads the EPC market of 678 MW, with a market size of over double than the closest competitor.
