Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 5,44,812.69 crore on July 19 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 64,60,538.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 13,179.40 crore, Stock Futures Rs 52,885.00 crore and Index Options Rs 4,38,130.74 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 40,617.56 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 1.07, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 1.16 and that of Stock Options was 0.46.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Indiabulls Real Estate (1.34), Bharti Airtel (1.27), Hindalco Industries (1.21), Ujjivan Financial Services (1.20) and HCL Technologies (1.17).
Among most active underlying, ITC witnessed a contraction of 6.26 million units of Open Interest in the July month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing an addition of 0.25 million units of Open Interest in the July month contract, Aurobindo Pharma witnessed an addition of 0.67 million units of Open Interest in the July month contract, Hindustan Unilever witnessed a contraction of 0.69 million units of Open Interest in the July month future contract and Havells India witnessed an addition of 0.09 million units of Open Interest in the July month future contract.
