SpiceJet advances on reporting passenger load factor of 94.5% in June

Spicejet is currently trading at Rs. 116.05, up by 0.05 points or 0.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 116.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 115.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 117.45 and Rs. 115.15 respectively. So far 825493 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 136.30 on 22-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 54.50 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 121.00 and Rs. 110.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6953.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.25%, while institutions and non-institutions held 10.41% and 29.34% respectively.

SpiceJet has reported the Passenger Load Factor (PLF) of 94.5% during the month of June this year. The company had reported PLF of 94.3% during May 2017. The PLF is a key indicator of the company’s performance, as it measures the average percentage of seats filled on airline’s aircraft fleet.

SpiceJet was among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector. The airline, which has a fleet of 49 planes, operates an average of 342 flights daily.
