Tata Motors mulling to raise Rs 1,000 crore via NCDs

Tata Motors is planning to consider a proposal to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore by issuing non-convertible debentures (NCDs). In this regard, the company is planning to hold a meeting of its duly constituted committee of the board on July 26.

The above issuance is pursuant to the approval of its shareholders at 71st annual general meeting (AGM) held on August 9, 2016 and a resolution passed by members on February 14, 2017.

Tata Motors, a $42 billion organisation, is a leading global automobile manufacturer of cars, utility vehicles, buses, trucks and defence vehicles.
