Balkrishna Industries inches up on getting nod to set-up Carbon Black project at Bhuj Plant

Balkrishna Industries is currently trading at Rs. 1617.10, up by 5.45 points or 0.34% from its previous closing of Rs. 1611.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1601.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1638.60 and Rs. 1601.50 respectively. So far 2856 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1750.00 on 06-Jul-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 705.00 on 03-Aug-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1676.00 and Rs. 1587.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15684.79 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.86% and 13.77% respectively.

Balkrishna Industries has received an approval for setting up of a Carbon Black project at its Bhuj Plant with an Initial annual capacity of 60000 MTs at an estimated capital outlay of Rs 150 crore. The board of directors at its meeting held on July 29, 2017 has approved for the same.
