Kitex Garments reports 15% fall in Q1 net profit

Kitex Garments has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2017.

The company has reported a fall of 15.25% in its net profit at Rs 17.95 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 21.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 3.91% at Rs 130.72 crore for Q1FY18 as compared Rs 125.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Kitex Garments is a 100% export of cotton garments in infants wear segment mainly in US and European markets. It has vertically integrated manufacturing plant makes infants wear as well as fabrics.
