Insecticides India rises on planning to invest Rs 30 crore on Dahej plant

Insecticides India is currently trading at Rs. 727.00, up by 8.60 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 718.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 724.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 727.00 and Rs. 723.00 respectively. So far 1,098 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 727.85 on 27-Jul-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 437.45 on 22-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 727.85 and Rs. 687.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,502.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 68.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.36% and 14.89% respectively.

Insecticides India, India’s fifth largest agrochemicals company, plans to invest nearly Rs 30 crore in brown field expansion of its technical facility at Dahej in the current fiscal.

Earlier in May, the company had launched a revolutionary biological product Kayakalp that will transform the health of soil and rejuvenate it organically to improve plant health and productivity. The product was duly approved by National Centre of Organic Farming, Ministry of agriculture and farmer welfare, Government of India for its features.

Insecticides India is a leading agro-chemical and pesticides manufacturer. It has formulation facilities in Chopanki (Rajasthan), Samba and Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir) and Dahej (Gujarat).
