Bank of Baroda trades in fine fettle on raising Rs 500 crore through bonds

Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs. 164.10, up by 0.95 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 163.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 164.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 165.25 and Rs. 163.55 respectively. So far 415351 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 202.45 on 05-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 136.00 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 168.35 and Rs. 160.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 37845.82 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.24%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.22% and 7.54% respectively.

Bank of Baroda has raised Rs 500 crore through issue and allotment of the bonds. The bank has allotted 8.60% - BASEL III Compliant AT I Bonds -Series VIII (Unsecured, Perpetual). The bank has issued 5,000 bonds of face value of Rs 10 lakh each. The issues opened on August 1, 2017 and closed on the same day.

Bank of Baroda is engaged in providing various services, such as personal banking, corporate banking, international banking, small and medium enterprise (SME) banking, rural banking, non-resident Indian (NRI) services and treasury services.
