Indowind Energy advances on winning arbitration claim of Rs 20.74 crore

Indowind Energy is currently trading at Rs. 5.60, up by 0.19 points or 3.51% from its previous closing of Rs. 5.41 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 5.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 5.66 and Rs. 5.60 respectively. So far 5,190 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 6.64 on 19-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3.80 on 22-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 5.66 and Rs. 5.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 50.26 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.25% and 53.56% respectively.

Indowind Energy has won the Arbitration claim against Suzlon Energy, of Rs 20.74 crore with interest at 18% from April 1, 2015 till the date of payment of the aforesaid award amount. On realization of the aforesaid award amount, the company plans to reduce its debts or add capacities to increase the bottom line.


Indowind Energy is engaged in the business of generation and distribution of power through windmill. The company’s segments include Power Generation, Project Sale and Others.
