Jubilant Pharma, a material wholly owned subsidiary of Jubilant Life Sciences, through one of its wholly owned subsidiaries, has received Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) final approval for Tizanidine Hydrochloride Capsules, 2 mg, 4 mg, and 6 mg, the generic version of Zanaflex of Acorda, which is used for the management of spasticity.
This is the fifth approval that the company has received from the USFDA during the current financial year. As on June 30, 2017, Jubilant Life Sciences had a total of 84 ANDAs for Oral Solids filed in the US, of which 53 have been approved.
