GAIL (INDIA) has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2017.
The company has reported a fall of 23.18% in its net profit at Rs 1025.64 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 1335.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 6.74% at Rs 11686.21 crore for Q1FY18 as compared Rs 10948.21 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
GAIL (India) is India’s principal Natural Gas Company with activities ranging from Gas Transmission and Marketing to Processing (for fractionating LPG, Propane, SBP Solvent and Pentane); transmission of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG); production and marketing of Petrochemicals like HDPE and LLDPE and leasing bandwidth in Telecommunications.
