Indian Bank moves up on the bourses

Indian Bank is currently trading at Rs. 304.20, up by 0.20 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 304.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 299.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 308.80 and Rs. 298.25 respectively. So far 51876 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 364.80 on 16-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 190.30 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 308.80 and Rs. 262.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 14730.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 82.10%, while institutions and non-institutions held 15.15% and 2.75% respectively.

Indian Bank has introduced a two tier interest rate structure for savings bank customers, offering interest at 4% p.a. for incremental balance above Rs 50 lakh and 3.50% p.a. for balance up to Rs 50 lakh. The new interest rate will be effective from August 16, 2017.

Indian Bank was established as a part of the Swadeshi movement. The bank provides a wide spectrum of banking products and services.
