Subros surges on raising Rs 50 crore on private placement basis

Subros is currently trading at Rs. 219.95, up by 3.70 points or 1.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 216.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 222.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 222.50 and Rs. 219.95 respectively. So far 443 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 271.95 on 06-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 99.25 on 24-Aug-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 234.00 and Rs. 213.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1319.45 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.01%, while institutions and non-institutions held 6.78% and 53.21% respectively.

Subros has raised an amount of Rs 50 crore by way of allotment of 500 Rated, Listed, Secured, Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) of face value of Rs 10 lakh on private placement basis. The said allotment of NCDs has been duly approved by the Debenture Committee of the Board of Directors on August 22, 2017. The NCDs will be listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of BSE.

Subros is a leading manufacturer of automotive air conditioning systems and thermal products for automotive applications in India. The company has also been supplying cab mounted HVAC Units to Indian Railways for Driver Cabin application.
