Winsome Textile Industries has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2012.
On the standalone basis, the company has posted a rise of 995.65% in its net profit at Rs 5.04 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 0.46 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income has decreased by 28.24% at Rs 73.65 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 102.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
The Company has reported net loss of Rs 9.22 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012, against net profit of Rs 13.55 crore in last fiscal. Total income decreased by 9.57% at Rs 316.24 crore from Rs 349.71 crore in the year-ago period.
