Bajaj Auto has registered a jump of 3% in total sales to 335,031 units in August 2017 against 325,347 units in August 2016. The company’s total exports out of the above stood at 134,372 units, a gain of 7% as compared to 125,033 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
The sales of the motorcycles increased by 1% and stood at 283,861 units in the month under review against 279,911 units in August 2016. The company has reported 13% jump in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 51,170 units as compared to 45,436 units in month of August2016.
Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
