Vijaya Bank inches up on raising Rs 700 crore via QIP

Vijaya Bank is currently trading at Rs. 68.05, up by 0.05 points or 0.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 68.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 67.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 68.10 and Rs. 67.20 respectively. So far 11300 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 97.40 on 09-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 38.10 on 29-Sep-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 71.50 and Rs. 67.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6757.19 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.33%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 18.31% and 11.36% respectively.

Vijaya Bank has raised Rs 700 crore by completing the qualified institutional placement (QIP) successfully. The allocation of 11.10 crore equity shares was done across a diverse set of investors at Rs 63.05 per share. The QIP was launched on August 28 for the issue size of Rs 450 crore with a greenshoe option of Rs 250 crore.

With the fresh augmentation of common equity tier I capital of Rs 700 crore, the bank will have a comfortable CRAR of 13.48 per cent.
