IndusInd Bank gains on entering into Exclusivity Agreement with Bharat Financial

IndusInd Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1719.60, up by 23.20 points or 1.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 1696.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1718.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1723.20 and Rs. 1710.00 respectively. So far 3,484 shares were traded on the counter.

IndusInd Bank has entered into a Confidentiality, Exclusivity, and Standstill Agreement (Exclusivity Agreement) with Bharat Financial Inclusion (BFIL).

The Exclusivity Agreement provides for a mutually agreed exclusivity period for due diligence and discussions to evaluate a potential strategic combination between the company and BFIL by way of amalgamation through a Scheme of Arrangement, or any other suitable structure.

The potential transaction would be subject to Due Diligence, Agreement on the appropriate Transaction Structure, Definitive documentation, and Board, Shareholders, Regulatory NCLT and other third-party approvals, as applicable.
