Tata Motors catches speed on unveiling sedan variant of Tigor

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 377.70, up by 2.65 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 375.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 380.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 380.80 and Rs. 376.55 respectively. So far 91822 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 580.10 on 09-Sep-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 357.95 on 11-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 396.05 and Rs. 374.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 108853.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.73%, while institutions and non-institutions held 39.59% and 25.68% respectively.

Tata Motors has launched a sedan variant of its hatchback Tigor. The Tigor XM petrol is priced at Rs 4.99 lakh. Introduction of this variant will further strengthen the sedan portfolio and will provide customers with a feature-rich car at an exciting price point. The new car will be available in petrol and diesel fuel types with manual transmission from September 15.
