Mahanagar Gas (MGL) has started Piped Natural Gas (PNG) supply in Dombivili (East) area in state of Maharashtra with the residential societies in Milap Nagar being the first households to receive domestic PNG. The company supplies eco-friendly and safe Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and Raigad district.
Dombivili (East) is a part of MGL's Kalyan-Dombivili-Ambernath-Badlapur (KDAB) zone. As a part of its expansion plans, in the last couple of years, the company has laid down its infrastructure of steel and polyethylene pipeline in Dombivili (East) area. This underground network of 28 Km and 25 km of above ground gas network has been laid in various locations including MIDC Residential and MIDC Industrial belt (Phase I & II).
