Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has opened four new branches in state of Tamil Nadu on September 27, 2017. The bank has opened one branch each at Villupuram district, Ariyalur district, Kanyakumari district and Sivagangai district respectively.

Karur Vysya Bank is among six old generation private sector banks that have been identified by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to implement Speed Clearing at Mumbai.
