Power Grid gains on commissioning Pole 2 of Champa - Kurukshetra HVDC Terminals

Power Grid Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 208.25, up by 0.80 points or 0.39% from its previous closing of Rs. 207.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 205.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 209.35 and Rs. 205.20 respectively. So far 39,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 226.40 on 08-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 167.40 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 213.85 and Rs. 205.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,08,947.00 crore.

Power Grid Corporation of India has commissioned Pole-II of the ±800 kV Champa-Kurukshetra HVDC Terminals along with associated bays under 'WR-NR HVDC Interconnector for IPP projects in Chhattisgarh with effect from September 16, 2017. Further, with the commissioning of said asset, all assets under the ‘WR-NR HVDC Interconnector for IPP projects in Chhattisgarh' have been commissioned.
