Canara Bank has opened its Aadhaar enrolment and updation centre in Bengaluru to facilitate seeding of current and savings accounts with Aadhaar number and get them authenticated before December 31. Similar centres will be opened in the bank’s 7,350 branches across the country, including its two subsidiary regional rural banks.
Canara Bank is an Indian state-owned bank headquartered in Bangalore, in Karnataka. It was established at Mangalore in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country.
