Kalpataru Power Transmission strengthens on bagging new orders worth Rs 1,057 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) is currently trading at Rs. 370.45, up by 3.85 points or 1.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 366.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 365.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 375.10 and Rs. 364.00 respectively. So far 8186 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 404.45 on 30-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 208.00 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 381.00 and Rs. 361.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5670.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.32%, while institutions and non-institutions held 25.37% and 15.31% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission has secured new orders worth Rs 1,057 crore. The two orders totaling Rs 913 crore is for design, supply and construction of 500 kV and 225/90 kV transmission lines in Thailand and Africa. The company has also bagged an order for pipeline installation and associated terminal works of KSPPL for Rs 144 crore.
