Andhra Bank zooms on raising Rs 1,000 crore on private placement basis

Andhra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 71.75, up by 13.25 points or 22.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 58.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 64.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 72.85 and Rs. 64.20 respectively. So far 2774620 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 76.10 on 05-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 45.60 on 27-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 72.85 and Rs. 53.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6257.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.77%, while institutions and non-institutions held 17.17% and 13.06% respectively.

Andhra Bank has issued Unsecured Fully paid Up Non-convertible Redeemable Basel-III Compliant 7.98% Tier-2 Bonds (Series-D) in the nature of Debentures for an amount of Rs 1000 crore on private placement basis.

The said issue was opened for subscription from October 24, 2017 and closed on October 24, 2017. The Bank has received subscriptions of Rs 1000 crore towards the subject bonds issue. The deemed date of allotment was fixed as October 24, 2017.
