Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 12,02,397.62 crore on October 25 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,40,15,737.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 42,971.50 crore, Stock Futures Rs 1,68,204.80 crore and Index Options Rs 9,15,136.26 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 76,085.05 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.88, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.92 and that of Stock Options was 0.48.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Ramco Cements (2.42), Oil India (2.16), Bharti Airtel (2.13), Oracle Financial Services Software (1.87) and Ultratech Cement (1.82).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 35.46 million units of Open Interest in the October month futures contract, followed by ICICI Bank witnessing a contraction of 27.61 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract, HDFC Bank witnessed a contraction of 5.86 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract, Axis Bank witnessed a contraction of 0.18 million units of Open Interest in the October month contract and Punjab National Bank witnessed a contraction of 5.54 million units of Open Interest in the October month future contract.
