Apollo Tyres trades higher on the bourses

Apollo Tyres is currently trading at Rs. 242.25, up by 3.35 points or 1.40% from its previous closing of Rs. 238.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 238.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 243.00 and Rs. 238.10 respectively. So far 89104 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 288.30 on 07-Aug-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 171.60 on 16-Feb-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 243.50 and Rs. 237.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13789.26 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.15%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.79% and 16.06% respectively.

BNP Paribas Arbitrage has sold over 34 lakh shares of Apollo Tyres for Rs 82.17 crore through an open market transaction. BNP Paribas Arbitrage offloaded 34,45,377 shares, amounting to 0.6% stake, in the tyre maker on NSE. The shares were disposed of at an average price of Rs 238.5 apiece, valuing the transaction at Rs 82.17 crore.
