Maruti Suzuki earmarks Rs 1,000 crore in FY18 to buy land parcels for new dealerships

As part of its network expansion strategy, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has earmarked Rs 1,000 crore in the current fiscal to buy land parcels for new dealerships. The company has already finalized 120 such land deals across the country in the first half of the current financial year. The company plans to buy land parcels, build dealerships and then lease them to selected dealers.

Maruti Suzuki India (formerly known as Maruti Udyog) is an automobile manufacturer in India. It provides passenger cars, utility vehicles and vans. The firm also offers pre-owned car sales, fleet management and car financing services.
