Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has bagged maiden exports order for its Truck wheels plant in Chennai. Total order size is 30,000 truck wheels to be supplied over next 12 months from Chennai Truck plant. The company is chasing similar large orders in European territory and expecting to close more final order in December 2017.
This will mark the company’s entry in the high potential Truck and Trailer wheels market in EU. SSWL expects to increase its presence in this market in the coming months given the brand new Chennai plant established keeping the lucrative Exports market.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors.
