Central Bank of India declines on reporting net loss of Rs 750.41 crore in Q2

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 81.75, down by 1.30 points or 1.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 83.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 81.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 82.75 and Rs. 79.35 respectively. So far 131412 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 125.00 on 22-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 70.60 on 17-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 93.95 and Rs. 79.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15647.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.38%, while institutions and non-institutions held 14.39% and 4.23% respectively. 

Central Bank of India has reported a net loss of Rs 750.41 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to a net loss of 641.82 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the Bank decreased marginally by 0.99% at Rs 6896.26 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 6965.45 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 17.27%, as compared to 13.70% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 9.53% in Q2FY18.
