Andhra Bank declines on reporting net loss of Rs 385.11 crore in Q2

Andhra Bank is currently trading at Rs. 64.85, down by 3.30 points or 4.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 68.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 66.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 67.50 and Rs. 64.50 respectively. So far 270099 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 76.10 on 05-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 45.60 on 27-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 70.80 and Rs. 64.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5660.12 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 17.17% and 13.06% respectively.

The Bank has reported a net loss of Rs 385.11 crore for second quarter ended September 30, 2017 as compared to a net profit of Rs 51.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank was down by 0.74% at Rs 5005.34 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 5042.67 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 13.27% as compared to 11.49% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 7.55% in Q2FY18.
