Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi, has launched its 19th vocational training centre at Rohini, Sector- 11 for children, youth and women from the socially disadvantaged sections of the society residing in the Jhuggi Jhopri (JJ) clusters and resettlement colonies.
This step has been taken by the company with an aim to contribute towards the Skill India Program. This centre will be run in association with Ashima Foundation and offer training in computers, stitching and tailoring, and will benefit over 250 youngsters and children annually.
