City Union Bank reports 17% rise in Q2 net profit

City Union Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The Bank has reported 16.98% rise in its net profit at Rs 144.76 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 123.74 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 11.32% at Rs 996.12 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 894.87 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 3.07%, as compared to 2.69% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 1.76% in Q2FY18.
