Allahabad Bank reports 8% rise in Q2 net profit

Allahabad Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2017.

The Bank has reported 7.95% rise in its net profit at Rs 70.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 65.03 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased marginally by 0.32% at Rs 5067.78 crore for Q2FY18 as compared Rs 5051.61 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 14.10% as compared to 12.28% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 8.84% in Q2FY18.
