Corporation Bank surges on plan of raising Rs 500 crore through Tier-2 Bonds

Corporation Bank is currently trading at Rs. 45.40, up by 0.70 points or 1.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 44.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 44.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 45.80 and Rs. 44.20 respectively. So far 21704 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 64.70 on 05-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 38.05 on 24-Oct-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 48.35 and Rs. 43.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5247.78 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.76%, while institutions and non-institutions held 23.89% and 5.35% respectively.

Corporation Bank is issuing Basel III Compliant Tier-2 Bonds (Series I) of Rs 500 crore on private placement basis. The Bank will offer a coupon rate of 8.02 percent per annum on the bonds.

Corporation Bank is a Mangalore-based mid-sized public sector bank which was established in 1906.
