Ceat gains on unveiling first Truck Service Hub in Kolkata

Ceat is currently trading at Rs. 1850.75, up by 16.30 points or 0.89% from its previous closing of Rs. 1834.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1845.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1861.20 and Rs. 1828.10 respectively. So far 12138 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1948.00 on 13-Jun-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1060.30 on 27-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1861.20 and Rs. 1750.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7496.21 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.76%, while institutions and non-institutions held 34.85% and 14.38% respectively.

Ceat has launched its first Truck Service Hub (TSH) in the Kolkata. The hub will be a one-stop destination for services related to wheel alignment, balancing and tyre health inspection, along with sale of Ceat truck and bus tyres.

Ceat is among the best tyre manufacturers in India. It manufactures a wide range of tyres for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, tractors and tippers and trucks. Besides tyres, the company also manufactures and markets tubes and flaps.
